# Node rotation

Groups of master nodes (Validators, Collators) rotate per epoch. While current group operates, new group forms with entirely new master nodes. Master node participating in current validation round during a particular epoch can not nominate for the next round. This prevents long-term control by any single group and ensures diverse participation.
