# 1-hop BTC cross-chain transfer
In this scenario Alice moves bitcoins from Bitcoin directly to Hyperliquid (EVM blockchain) with Covenant system as intermediary:
### Bitcoin → (Covenant system) → Hyperliquid
#### User flow:

1. Alice provides her parameters (BTC amount, her address on Hyperliquid, etc.) and receives unique channeling transaction based on the data she provided. At this step Alice channeling parameters with her Hyperliquid address are also sent to Covenant<>Hyperliquid cross-chain connector.
2. Alice deposits her BTC on Bitcoin via her special transaction.
3. When the transaction is finalized on Bitcoin, Covenant system mints Channel NFT with Alice’s Bitcoin deposit parameters to Covenant<>Hyperliquid cross-chain connector.
4. Connector locks Channel NFT and sends a transaction to Asset transfer management contract on Hyperliquid to mint Channel NFT with corresponding parameters to Alice on Hyperliquid.
5. When a transaction is finalized on Hyperliquid, Asset transfer management module mints Channel NFT to Alice on Hyperliquid.
