# Omnicompatibility

Seamless UTXOEVM architecture is the key structural advantage enabling Covenant' omnicompatibility, which is essential step for bringing native Bitcoin to DeFi ecosystems. Covenant can natively communicate both with the Bitcoin blockchain and with Ethereum(EVM) family.
